Massage therapy center Fyzioterapie Ostrava has been operating since 1996 and is offering wide variety of body treatments such as massages, tanning bed, cupping, anti-cellulite treatment and much more.

I. ) Massages

a) Chinese massages using aromatherapy essential oils :

Full Body Massage (120min)  -  510,- Kč
Upper Body Massage - including Back and Neck  (60min)  - 295,- Kč
Back and Neck Massage (45min)  - 225,-Kč
Legs Massage (60min)  -  300,-Kč 

Tui na (推拏 or 推拿, both pronounced tuī ná), is a form of Chinese manipulative therapy often used in conjunction with acupuncture, moxibustion, fire cupping, Chinese herbalism, tai chi and qigong. Tui na is a hands-on-body treatment using acupressure that is a modality of Chinese medicine whose purpose is to bring the body into balance.

b) Lymphatic drainage (massage) :

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is believed by proponents to encourage the natural circulation of the lymph through the body. The lymph system depends on peristalsis and the movement of skeletal muscles to squeeze fluid through lymph ducts and vessels.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage was pioneered by Dr. Emil Vodder in the 1930s for the treatment of chronic sinusitis and other immune disorders, and is now recognized as a primary tool in Lymphedema management. Therapists can today receive certification through special classes conducted by various organizations specializing in MLD.

c) Reflex massage of feet (Reflexology):

Reflex massage of feet  (30min)  -  140,-Kč

Reflexology, or zone therapy, is a complementary therapy, intended for use alongside conventional medical care and not as a replacement. It is the practice of stimulating nerves on the feet, hands and ears, to supposedly encourage a beneficial effect on some other parts of the body, or to try to improve general health. Reflexology is most commonly performed on the feet, moving on to the hands and/or ears where physical restraints (contraindications), such as veruccas or fractures, apply.

d) Fire cupping:

full cupping  -  185,-Kč 
partial (including in massage)  -  60,- Kč

Fire cupping is a method of applying acupressure by creating a vacuum next to the patient's skin. In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) it involves placing glass, plastic, or bamboo cups on the skin with a vacuum. The therapy is used to relieve what is called "stagnation" in TCM terms, and is used in the treatment of respiratory diseases such as the common cold, pneumonia, and bronchitis. Cupping is also used to treat back, neck, shoulder, and other musculoskeletal pain. Its advocates claim it has other applications as well. This technique, in varying forms, has also been found in the folk medicine of Vietnam, the Balkans, modern Greece, Mexico, and Russia, among other places, including Iran where it is called 'bod-kesh' meaning literally 'pull with air'.
